For the PlayMakers 1982 production of Life on the Mississippi
a musical written by Tommy Thompson and Bland Simpson (who joined the 
band in 1986), the Ramblers pose on stage with Chris Frank, who at the time
was a member of the cast but not yet a member of the band.

The Ramblers perform a cappella at the Festival for the Eno in 1986.


In the Sam Shepard movie Silent Tongue, the Ramblers portray a band
in an 1870's traveling medicine show. Dressed in period costumes, 
(left to right) Tommy, Jack, Clay, Bland and Chris pose for this publicity photo.
