24  "‘New-timey music’ a Rambler calls it" - 1984 Richmond (Va) Times Dispatch interview with Tommy Thompson from Mike Craver's scrapbooks.  Mike says "the article is interesting because it gave Tommy a chance to talk about his  feelings, inspirations and motivations about the music he played. I think what he says is very heartfelt and revealing and very refreshing."
7    A new Fuzzy Mountain poster!  Thanks, Jesse :)  It's purple - you can't miss it.

13   "A Year in the Life of a Rambler" - Look through Bill's handwritten calendar of each month of 1977 as the RCRs toured all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Bill emailed a lot of comments and stories when he checked out the page, so those are posted for your enjoyment as well.

21   Did the Ramblers and the rest of the Diamond Studs cast predict its impact on their futures?  Two weeks into Studs' 8-month run, see what they expected. "'Diamond Studs' cast unsure of next step" from the 1/25/75 Herald.
20   New pictures for the Fuzzy Mountain String Band section: Glenville '70 and Galax, Bobbie Thompson's drawing of Bill Hicks and an intaglio print
19   Two 1978 interviews: Jim Watson's interviewed in the Duke alumni magazine.  Jim traces his interest in bluegrass and old time music and gives his view of the Ramblers' future.  And Bill Hicks interviewed in the Cary News, "Red Clay Ramblers’ style is eclectic"
16   Bill's scrapbooks yielded up an exuberant performance review of the Red Clay Ramblers at Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, PA.  The article, accompanied by some exceptional action pics, appeared in the March 1977 issue of Folk Life.
15   The International Page of posters is up.  I almost forgot that Canada is international!
13   Tony Ellis sent a note to Tommy's Tribute Page.
4     Posters!  We've gathered the ones scattered around the site as well as many new ones from Bill Hicks' collection.  Bill's wife Libby turned over all his scrapbooks to us for the summer!  International posters are coming soon, but for now we have Gigs and Diamond Studs.
