1     Many thanks to the O'Blur fans!  Jane Hogan shared her pics from the Cook Shack show in Union Grove NC.  Tom Stammely and Sandra Simpson were at the Six String and sent a fine batch of pics they took.  Many thanks to these fans who got some great shots in difficult conditions.

August 2005
31   Optimistically, we've started a blog page for the O'Blurs trip to Omagh, Northern Ireland.  Mike and Joe sent an email on their way to the airport, so we've started the page and are hoping for more updates of the festivities and antics over the weekend.

7     They're back!  It's been just entirely too long since the last O'Blurs show, but the summer is gonna be a hot one.  The band kicked off the summer season with a benefit for the Durham Arts Council at the Q Shack in Durham.

2    A fan signed Tommy's guestbook and offered us a  pic he'd taken of Tommy back in 1968.  Of course we took him up on it.  We've posted Leonard Koenick's pic on the first page of the Photo Album.

6    Jesse Thompson forwarded a 1975 review/article for Diamond Studs' opening in Miami after its NYC run.  "The ‘Studs’ Saga: How a little country musical stormed New York.  Is Coconut Grove ready for this?" includes inside looks at how the play developed and what it was like for the NC musicians to be suddenly transplanted to a new level.
